From time to time I will add requests for information on all subjects covered by this website.
If you can help add information, please use the contact form.
I am particularly interested in:
- Photographs of Patrick Joseph Gallacher, his family, teammates and colleagues.
- The missing photographs which once hung at 7 Trulock Road, Tottenham.
- Letters, postcards or other family papers, especially correspondence from the First World War.
- Information relating to Parkhead Rangers, Ashfield, Vale of Clyde, Rockvale and Duntocher Hibernians.
- Information about Bill Over, Henry Naylor and football groundsmanship.
- Memories, family stories, programmes, newspaper cuttings or photographs connected to Patrick Gallacher, Arthur Gallacher and their football careers.
No detail is too small. A photograph, a name written on the back of an old picture, a family anecdote or a forgotten newspaper clipping may help fill a gap in the story.
Current Research Priorities
- Early football career before Duntocher Hibernians.
- The whereabouts of Patrick’s wartime letters to Alice
- The missing Trulock Road photographs.
- Further information on Patrick’s brother Arthur.
- The groundsmanship connections between Bill Over, Patrick Gallacher and Henry Naylor.
